Nicole Levine is a 1988 graduate of Lick-Wilmerding High School. She went on to receive her bachelor of arts from the University of Washington and her master of business administration from the University of California, Davis.
During her time at LWHS, the school’s focus on public purpose inspired Levine to devote much of her career to the ideals. She loved the idea of supporting and participating in programs that enhanced and strengthened the community. Levine said that the LWHS community shaped her overall outlook on life and encouraged and inspired her to volunteer. Today she is a dedicated nonprofit and philanthropy executive with more than 20 years of experience in the field.
Levine served as the Executive Director and Interim CEO of the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment from January 2010 to December 2013. During this time, their shared passion for public service saw Levine and Flora Melara, Class of 2004, working together to help the Initiative lift women out of poverty.
